Camra PIctures?

I have a digital actually two & the one takes really good pictures. We normally use that one on campus & when we out (friends). Just wanted to know even if you wanted to take the postcard pictures would you still be able to do it or would you have to go & buy a canon camra just to do it? & how much are they going for?
