Do you think the "generic" ending of Mozart's requiem does him justice?

I am not sure what you mean by the generic ending. The work was completed by Franz Xavier Sussmayer (Mozart's student) at the behest of Mozart's wife Constanza. Generally the work he provided is considered adequate and in keeping with Mozart's portion.
