My ex dating the exact opposite of me?

After you break up do you ever try to find someone who is physically or personality wise the opposite of your ex? This seems to have happened to me twice. I was a pretty closeted and my ex dated a girl who was very outgoing and open/comfortable with her uality. My latest shortly after we broke up kept going on and on about how hott this one girl was that was in the same room and she was a total tomboy and that she liked that she was into sports. She knows I could care less about sports and I'm a total girly girl. She also went on about how y she thought a butch tv character was.
