Help with algebra 1, quadratic equations part 2.?

ok then, so you have to move all numbers to one side so if I take your 1st question it is X^2+2X-3=0. then you have to factor which I should believe come to (X+3)(X-1)=0. the you have to solve for X but be careful, quadratics generally have 2 answers to this. so to do this, you either let x+3=0 or x-1=0 then solve for X and you have your answers. this is general format to solving quadratic equations. its either factoring or Quadratic formula if you know it yet!
