How to breath out mist?

k, well, i was in math cl today, and this one guy did something in his more, then put his mouth to his hands, and then exhaled mist. by mist i mean the air that u see when you breath on a very cold day. However, it was normal temperature. does anyone know how to do this? it looked rly cool.
