Romantic getaway ideas without leaving city?

Having a bit of a staycation and I'm wondering what people like to do for romantic getaways when they can't leave town. It's Minneapolis, incidentally, but I was thinking stuff that's in every big city like zoos and restaurants. We love film, food and animals. We don't like sports, children or getting drunk.
